For These Reasons shall ye lay up these My terms in the heart and in the soul; and ye shall bind them to get a sign upon your hand, and they shall be for frontlets in between your eyes. And ye shall teach them your children, talking of them, when thou sittest in thy home, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt be ready to write them on the doorway-posts of thy household, and on thy gates; that your days may perhaps be multiplied, and the times of your kids, on the land which the LORD swore unto your fathers to grant them, as the times on the heavens previously mentioned the earth.”
Exodus thirteen:one-ten:

And it shall be for just a indication unto thee upon thy hand, and for just a memorial somewhere between thine eyes, which the regulation for the LORD may really well be in thy mouth; for with a strong hand hath the LORD brought thee out of Egypt.
