    If you’re an online marketer, the type of advertising campaigns you set up can make all the difference to your business.     The most effective ads are concise and stay on the main topic, without confusing the prospect with copy that doesn’t serve a useful purpose. Don’t count on your readers staying with you for long, drawn out stories or details, as many of them will click away from your ad. Your ads will convert more effectively if they’re very focused and address your prospects’ needs in a powerful way. You never want to lose sight of your real motive, which is to get your prospects to purchase your product, or perhaps request further information. All of your copy, then, should have a purpose and you don’t want to divert the reader’s attention away from this.

    One well known yet still effective tactic you should use is making your offer time sensitive, to pressure your prospects into a decision. You naturally want people to respond to your offer, and the longer they take to think about it, the more likely it is that you’ll lose them. Very often, people will think to themselves that they’ll come back to the ad later, and this is something you don’t want. Remember, everyone is hit with dozens if not hundreds of offers every day, so if someone doesn’t buy your product right away, they may be tempted by something else ten minutes later.

    Limiting the number of items you sell can help motivate your prospects to respond quickly to your ad. You can easily make your product seem more valuable this way, and motivate people to act immediately so they don’t miss out on it. If you’re selling any type of information product, you can also insert this type of scarcity into the equation by telling people how many copies you’re selling (but be honest about it).
